Adjuvants, Immunologic
Substances that augment, stimulate, activate, potentiate, or modulate the immune response at either the cellular or humoral level. The classical agents (Freund's adjuvant, BCG, Corynebacterium parvum, et al.) contain bacterial antigens. Some are endogenous (e.g., histamine, interferon, transfer factor, tuftsin, interleukin-1). Their mode of action is either non-specific, resulting in increased immune responsiveness to a wide variety of antigens, or antigen-specific, i.e., affecting a restricted type of immune response to a narrow group of antigens. The therapeutic efficacy of many biological response modifiers is related to their antigen-specific immunoadjuvanticity. (See all compounds classified as Adjuvants, Immunologic.)
Antacids
Substances that counteract or neutralize acidity of the GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT. (See all compounds classified as Antacids.)

Aluminum Acetate is an astringent. An astrignent is a chemical that tends to shrink or constrict body tissues, usually locally after topical medicinal application. The shrinkage or constriction is through osmotic flow of water (or other fluids) away from the area where the astringent was applied. Astringent medicines cause shrinkage of mucous membranes or exposed tissues and are often used internally to check discharge of blood serum or mucous secretions. This can happen with a sore throat, hemorrhages, diarrhea, or with peptic ulcers. Externally applied astringents, which cause mild coagulation of skin proteins, dry, harden, and protect the skin. Acne sufferers are often advised to use astringents if they have oily skin. Astringents also help heal stretch marks and other scars. Mild astringent solutions are used in the relief of such minor skin irritations as those resulting from superficial cuts, allergies, insect bites, or fungal infections such as athlete's foot.

ABOUT THIS PAGE
A Aluminum Phosphate manufacturer is defined as any person or entity involved in the manufacture, preparation, processing, compounding or propagation of Aluminum Phosphate, including repackagers and relabelers. The FDA regulates Aluminum Phosphate manufacturers to ensure that their products comply with relevant laws and regulations and are safe and effective to use. Aluminum Phosphate API Manufacturers are required to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure that their products are consistently manufactured to meet established quality criteria.

A Aluminum Phosphate supplier is an individual or a company that provides Aluminum Phosphate active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) or Aluminum Phosphate finished formulations upon request. The Aluminum Phosphate suppliers may include Aluminum Phosphate API manufacturers, exporters, distributors and traders.

A Aluminum Phosphate written confirmation (Aluminum Phosphate WC) is an official document issued by a regulatory agency to a Aluminum Phosphate manufacturer, verifying that the manufacturing facility of a Aluminum Phosphate active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) adheres to the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations of the importing country. When exporting Aluminum Phosphate APIs or Aluminum Phosphate finished pharmaceutical products to another nation, regulatory agencies frequently require a Aluminum Phosphate WC (written confirmation) as part of the regulatory process.

National Drug Code is a comprehensive database maintained by the FDA that contains information on all drugs marketed in the US. This directory includes information about finished drug products, unfinished drug products, and compounded drug products, including those containing Aluminum Phosphate as an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API).
The FDA updates the NDC directory daily. The NDC numbers for Aluminum Phosphate API and other APIs are published in this directory by the FDA.
The NDC unfinished drugs database includes product listing information submitted for all unfinished drugs, such as active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), drugs intended for further processing and bulk drug substances for compounding.
Pharmaceutical companies that manufacture Aluminum Phosphate as an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) must furnish the FDA with an updated record of all drugs that they produce, prepare, propagate, compound, or process for commercial distribution in the US at their facilities.
The NDC directory also contains data on finished compounded human drug products that contain Aluminum Phosphate and are produced by outsourcing facilities. While these outsourcing facilities are not mandated to assign a Aluminum Phosphate NDC to their finished compounded human drug products, they may choose to do so.

Aluminum Phosphate Active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) is produced in GMP-certified manufacturing facility.
GMP stands for Good Manufacturing Practices, which is a system used in the pharmaceutical industry to make sure that goods are regularly produced and monitored in accordance with quality standards. The FDA’s current Good Manufacturing Practices requirements are referred to as cGMP or current GMP which indicates that the company follows the most recent GMP specifications. The World Health Organization (WHO) has its own set of GMP guidelines, called the WHO GMP. Different countries can also set their own guidelines for GMP like China (Chinese GMP) or the EU (EU GMP).
PharmaCompass offers a list of Aluminum Phosphate GMP manufacturers, exporters & distributors, which can be sorted by USDMF, JDMF, KDMF, CEP (COS), WC, API price, and more, enabling you to easily find the right Aluminum Phosphate GMP manufacturer or Aluminum Phosphate GMP API supplier for your needs.
A Aluminum Phosphate CoA (Certificate of Analysis) is a formal document that attests to Aluminum Phosphate's compliance with Aluminum Phosphate specifications and serves as a tool for batch-level quality control.
Aluminum Phosphate CoA mostly includes findings from lab analyses of a specific batch. For each Aluminum Phosphate CoA document that a company creates, the USFDA specifies specific requirements, such as supplier information, material identification, transportation data, evidence of conformity and signature data.
Aluminum Phosphate may be tested according to a variety of international standards, such as European Pharmacopoeia (Aluminum Phosphate EP), Aluminum Phosphate JP (Japanese Pharmacopeia) and the US Pharmacopoeia (Aluminum Phosphate USP).
