Used for the treatment of schizophrenia.
Fluspirilene is a relatively long-acting injectable depot antipsychotic drug used for schizophrenia. Fluspirilene does not differ greatly from other depot antipsychotics (fluphenazine decanoate, fluphenazine enathate, perphenazine onanthat, pipotiazine undecylenate) with respect to treatment efficacy, response or tolerability. Outcomes suggest that fluspirilene does not differ significantly from oral antipsychotics or in different weekly regimens, although much cannot be inferred because of the shortage of trials.
Antipsychotic Agents
Agents that control agitated psychotic behavior, alleviate acute psychotic states, reduce psychotic symptoms, and exert a quieting effect. They are used in SCHIZOPHRENIA; senile dementia; transient psychosis following surgery; or MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION; etc. These drugs are often referred to as neuroleptics alluding to the tendency to produce neurological side effects, but not all antipsychotics are likely to produce such effects. Many of these drugs may also be effective against nausea, emesis, and pruritus. (See all compounds classified as Antipsychotic Agents.)
Dopamine Antagonists
Drugs that bind to but do not activate DOPAMINE RECEPTORS, thereby blocking the actions of dopamine or exogenous agonists. Many drugs used in the treatment of psychotic disorders (ANTIPSYCHOTIC AGENTS) are dopamine antagonists, although their therapeutic effects may be due to long-term adjustments of the brain rather than to the acute effects of blocking dopamine receptors. Dopamine antagonists have been used for several other clinical purposes including as ANTIEMETICS, in the treatment of Tourette syndrome, and for hiccup. Dopamine receptor blockade is associated with NEUROLEPTIC MALIGNANT SYNDROME. (See all compounds classified as Dopamine Antagonists.)

PharmaCompass offers a list of Fluspirilene API manufacturers, exporters & distributors, which can be sorted by GMP, USDMF, JDMF, KDMF, CEP (COS), WC, Price, and more, enabling you to easily find the right Fluspirilene manufacturer or Fluspirilene supplier for your needs.
Send us enquiries for free, and we will assist you in establishing a direct connection with your preferred Fluspirilene manufacturer or Fluspirilene supplier.
PharmaCompass also assists you with knowing the Fluspirilene API Price utilized in the formulation of products. Fluspirilene API Price is not always fixed or binding as the Fluspirilene Price is obtained through a variety of data sources. The Fluspirilene Price can also vary due to multiple factors, including market conditions, regulatory modifications, or negotiated pricing deals.
A Fluspirilen manufacturer is defined as any person or entity involved in the manufacture, preparation, processing, compounding or propagation of Fluspirilen, including repackagers and relabelers. The FDA regulates Fluspirilen manufacturers to ensure that their products comply with relevant laws and regulations and are safe and effective to use. Fluspirilen API Manufacturers are required to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure that their products are consistently manufactured to meet established quality criteria.
A Fluspirilen supplier is an individual or a company that provides Fluspirilen active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) or Fluspirilen finished formulations upon request. The Fluspirilen suppliers may include Fluspirilen API manufacturers, exporters, distributors and traders.

A Fluspirilen CEP of the European Pharmacopoeia monograph is often referred to as a Fluspirilen Certificate of Suitability (COS). The purpose of a Fluspirilen CEP is to show that the European Pharmacopoeia monograph adequately controls the purity of Fluspirilen EP produced by a given manufacturer. Suppliers of raw materials can prove the suitability of Fluspirilen to their clients by showing that a Fluspirilen CEP has been issued for it. The manufacturer submits a Fluspirilen CEP (COS) as part of the market authorization procedure, and it takes on the role of a Fluspirilen CEP holder for the record. Additionally, the data presented in the Fluspirilen CEP (COS) is managed confidentially and offers a centralized system acknowledged by numerous nations, exactly like the Fluspirilen DMF.
A Fluspirilen CEP (COS) is recognised by all 36 nations that make up the European Pharmacopoeia Convention. Fluspirilen CEPs may be accepted in nations that are not members of the Ph. Eur. at the discretion of the authorities there.

Fluspirilen Active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) is produced in GMP-certified manufacturing facility.
GMP stands for Good Manufacturing Practices, which is a system used in the pharmaceutical industry to make sure that goods are regularly produced and monitored in accordance with quality standards. The FDA’s current Good Manufacturing Practices requirements are referred to as cGMP or current GMP which indicates that the company follows the most recent GMP specifications. The World Health Organization (WHO) has its own set of GMP guidelines, called the WHO GMP. Different countries can also set their own guidelines for GMP like China (Chinese GMP) or the EU (EU GMP).
PharmaCompass offers a list of Fluspirilen GMP manufacturers, exporters & distributors, which can be sorted by USDMF, JDMF, KDMF, CEP (COS), WC, API price, and more, enabling you to easily find the right Fluspirilen GMP manufacturer or Fluspirilen GMP API supplier for your needs.
A Fluspirilen CoA (Certificate of Analysis) is a formal document that attests to Fluspirilen's compliance with Fluspirilen specifications and serves as a tool for batch-level quality control.
Fluspirilen CoA mostly includes findings from lab analyses of a specific batch. For each Fluspirilen CoA document that a company creates, the USFDA specifies specific requirements, such as supplier information, material identification, transportation data, evidence of conformity and signature data.
Fluspirilen may be tested according to a variety of international standards, such as European Pharmacopoeia (Fluspirilen EP), Fluspirilen JP (Japanese Pharmacopeia) and the US Pharmacopoeia (Fluspirilen USP).
