Carbomer Copolymer Type B is a high molecular weight copolymer of acrylic acid and a long chain alkyl methacrylate cross-linked with allyl ethers of polyalcohols. Cosolvent mixture of ethyl acetate and cyclohexane is used as residual sovent.This polymer is used as controlled-release agents, bioadhesives, topical gels, emulsifying agents etc.
